The victim of a weekend shooting in Davenport has died. Police responded to calls of shots fired shortly before 3:30 Saturday morning at an apartment house in the central city. Cops say 28-year-old Daniel LaBarre of Davenport was treated at the scene for serious injuries and later died at a Davenport hospital.
An autopsy is scheduled for today, Monday, in Iowa City. Detectives are investigating and asking for anyone with information to call them.
