The choices for the next Iowa Travel Guide cover.

Followers of the Iowa Tourism Office on Facebook are choosing the cover of the next Iowa Travel Guide this week. Iowa Tourism Office spokesperson Jessica O’Riley says Iowans can cast a vote for their favorite of four cover options.

“One of the covers is the iconic Field of Dreams in Dyersville, of course, no one else can claim that magical field. We’ve got the beautiful Dunning’s Springs in Decorah. I’m sure there are a lot of people who didn’t even know we have waterfalls in Iowa. We’ve got beautiful cabins in Scharnberg Park in Clay County and we’ve got Reiman Gardens in Ames, which is celebrating 20 years next year,” O’Riley said.

Voting on the four options continues through noon on Friday. This marks the fourth year that the cover of the Iowa Travel Guide has been decided by the Iowa Tourism Office’s Facebook followers.

“Last year, our Facebook fans chose a collage of 16 different images of Iowa for the cover,” O’Riley said.

The printed version of 2015 Iowa Travel Guide will be available sometime in the spring. “We’ll print more than 100,000 copies of the Travel Guide,” O’Riley said. “People can pick those up at any Iowa Welcome Center, or they can call 800.345.IOWA or visit traveliowa.com to request one of those guides.”

The annual publication features listings of more than 800 Iowa attractions, plus 575 hotels, 165 bed and breakfasts, and 480 campgrounds.
