A Belmond woman was killed Tuesday morning in a two vehicle accident on a county road southeast of Belmond.

The Iowa State Patrol identified the victim as 51-year-old Ann Marie Just. Reportedly a northbound 2000 Ford F-150 pickup truck driven by Just dropped off onto the shoulder of the roadway, over corrected and then slid sideways. The Just pickup crossed the center line and was struck by a southbound 2003 Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by 54-year-old Jeffrey Jensen of Alexander. Both drivers were transported to the Iowa Specialty Hospital in Belmond for treatment. Just was pronounced dead on arrival.

Last night one man was killed and two women were injuired when two cars collicded on Highway 30 in Harrison County.

According to the Iowa State Patrol accident report, 74-year-old Linda Hack of Logan was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Impala Eastbound on Highway 30 about two-and-a-half miles west of Logan.  Travelling west in the same location was 58-year-old Richard Tiffey, Jr. of Logan in a 2003 Ford Crown Victoria. For an unknown reason, the Hack vehicle crossed the center line and struck the Tiffey car head on.

Tiffey was killed as a result of the accident. His passenger, 58-year-old Debbie Tiffey of Logan, was injured, as was the female driver. The injured women were transported to Missouri Valley Hospital, and later to Creighton Medical Center. Richard Tiffey, Jr. was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. Debbie Tiffey and Hack were both wearing seatbelts.
