Ambulance-Back-DoorA truck driver was killed this morning in a crash on Interstate 680 in southwestern Iowa. Forty-eight-year old Jeffrey Hall, of North Brunswick, New Jersey, died during the crash that happened just before 7-a.m. near the Beebeetown exit.

The Iowa State Patrol says after the semi Hall was driving left the road and entered the median, he swerved back onto I-680 westbound. When the trailer hit the guard rail, the 2005 International rolled onto its left side.

The semi continued north and west before crashing through the guardrail and coming to rest in the north ditch. Hall was ejected from the cab of the truck as it rolled and died at the scene.
