One person is dead following an early morning assault in Waterloo. The incident happened early today when Waterloo police were called to a duplex on the city’s west side around 4:30 a.m. on the report of an assault.
According to sources, the unidentified victim was taken to a local hospital, where that person has now died from the injuries. Police haven’t said yet whether any arrests have been made or if there are any suspects. The case is under investigation.
