The Audubon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a drowning in a rural portion of the county. The sheriff’s office says 63-year-old Maynard Nielsen of Elk Horn drowned in a farm pond over the week.
Nielsen’s body was discovered by deputies upon arrival. No other information regarding the drowning has been released.
