The Iowa State Patrol released the name of the man who was killed in a one-vehicle crash last night in Wright County. The victim is identified as 56-year-old Mark S. Jacobson of Woolstock.
Reportedly, a 1999 Ford F-150 pickup driven by Jacobson was heading south on Wright County Road R-27 and approaching a left hand curve. Upon negotiating the curve, the vehicle left the right side of the roadway.
Jacobson over-corrected the pickup, crossing the center line and causing the vehicle to rotate in a clockwise direction. The truck then rolled one time, ejecting Jacobson and coming to rest in the southwest ditch. Jacobson was pronounced dead at the scene.
