Authorities are releasing the name of the motorcyclist killed in a Friday afternoon crash in Franklin County.
The Iowa State Patrol reported an eastbound 1997 Chevrolet Monte Carlo driven by Jose Salinas of Hampton crossed the centerline striking a westbound motorcycle driven by 56-year-old Nicholas Hursh of Parkersburg.
Hursh died of his injuries at the accident scene.
