Lisa Bluder
The Iowa women’s basketball team is headed to Italy where the Hawkeyes will play three exhibition games. Coach Lisa Bluder’s team is coming off a 26-8 season in which they made it to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
Bluder says with a young nucleus will benefit from the trip.
“The timing of the trip couldn’t be better, just like it was four years ago when we had a big freshmen class”, said Bluder. We have four freshmen and four sophomores. They need that extra experience.”
Iowa’s first game is August 14th against Dream Team Italian Select.
