A 49-year-old Burlington man has been sentenced to 17-and-a-half years in prison on child pornography charges.
Jeffrey David Rogers was arrested in August of last year after Burlington police got a tip that Rogers had several inappropriate photos on his cell phone. Authorities say an examination of the phone revealed Rogers had “several” pornography photographs of a four-year-old girl.
Rogers admitted to authorities he took the photos while he was babysitting the girl.
Rogers pleaded guilty to the charge of production of child pornography in late May. On Monday he was sentenced to 210 months in a federal prison.
