The Northern Iowa Panthers will finally play another home game this weekend when the host Western Illinois. The Panthers are 2-3 after a 31-28 loss at second ranked North Dakota State and this will be only their second home game of the season.

UNI coach Mark Farley says the Panthers played well the last couple of weeks but need to get some momentum that only winning will provide.

“We’ve been the opponent for three sellouts in the last three places we have been and I thought we played very well in two of the tougher ones”, said Farley. “Now, if we can get our advantage of playing at home and use that we have got a chance to play at another level.”

The Panthers are 0-2 in the Missouri Valley Football race but finish with four of their last six games at home.
