The Northern Iowa Panthers are on the road in Missouri Valley Conference action tonight as they visit Missouri State. The Panthers are 1-1 in the Valley after a loss at Southern Illinois and coach Ben Jacobson says they will need to recognize the Bears’ changing defenses.
“They have played a little man-to-man but they have played a lot of zone and they have played some different zones so that could be very different”, said Jacobson. “We have seen a lot of zones but not the changing zones we could see in this game.”
The Panthers are 9-6 overall while Missouri State enters the game with an 0-2 Valley mark and the Bears are 4-10 overall.
