Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton says she’s a “results oriented” person and that’s why she’s talking about pursuing a “sensible” agenda rather than joining competitor Bernie Sanders in calling for a “political revolution.”

“I think there’s a real choice in the election and that’s what Iowans have to decide,” she told Radio Iowa last night.

Clinton said “making life better for families” means ending “gridlock and dysfunction” and taking a “different approach” than Sanders suggests.

“I really believe based on a lot of conversations, listening hard to people in Iowa, they don’t want to wait for a whole new system,” Clinton said. “They don’t want to start from scratch. They need wages now. They need to refinance their debt now. They need to afford their prescription drugs now. They need progress right now and that’s what I am putting forth.”

Clinton spoke with Radio Iowa by phone on the eve of her return to Iowa. In the past week Clinton has deployed her husband, her daughter and former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright on the Iowa campaign trail. Now, Clinton’s bringing pop star Demi Lovato with her to a rally Thursday night in Iowa City. So, is this a “go big or go home” kind of moment?

“I think it’s a ‘go have some fun and come out and caucus for me moment,'” Clinton replied. “We’re going to be doing everything we can to reach as many potential caucus-goers as possible.”
