The fifth ranked Iowa Hawkeyes raced out to a big early lead and never looked back in a 73-49 win over Penn State. Jarrod Uthoff led a balanced attack with 14 points. Senior center Adam Woodbury had five points and a career high 15 rebounds.

“I kind of pride myself on setting the tone down low and being physical on the glass at both ends”, said Woodbury. “I was able to get some opportunities and the obviously missed some shots.”

Iowa raced away to a 45-26 halftime lead as they improve to 9-1 in the Big Ten and 18-4 overall. The Hawkeyes visit Illinois on Sunday afternoon.
