Jonathan Neunaber
An Akron man will appear at the Plymouth County Courthouse this afternoon for a hearing on a plea agreement in his murder case. Jonathon Neunaber is accused of killing his mother Esther Neunaber back in July of 2014.
Both of Neunaber’s parents were found dead at their rural Akron home. A medical examiner’s report showed that Donald Neunaber had died from natural causes, but Esther’s death was the result of blunt force trauma to the head. Neunaber has been in custody at the Plymouth County jail since that incident nearly a year and a half ago.
Neunaber was evaluated by psychologists and psychiatrists from both the defense and prosecuting attorneys, and was determined to be competent to face trial for the death of his mother.
