A 25-year-old Clarion man was arrested Thursday after an investigation by both the Wright County Sheriff’s Department and the Iowa Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Wright County investigators received information from police in Rolla, Missouri and prepared a search warrant for the Skyler Wyatt residence. During the execution of the search warrant law enforcement officers seized several electronic devices. The investigation showed Wyatt knowingly caused a minor to be photographed in a prohibited sexual act. The photograph was preserved on an electronic storage system and shared with another person.
Wyatt is charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. He is being held in the Wright County Jail on a cash bond of $25,000. Wright County Sheriff Jason Schluttenhofer said the investigation is continuing with additional charges to be filed.
