A report from the state’s Medicaid fraud unit concluded Lesley Ann Krebs stole Oxycodone and Hydrocodone. Oxycodone is typically prescribed to treat moderate to severe pain over a limited time period. Hydrocodone is prescribed most often for chronic pain, injuries or after a surgery.

Iowa State Patrol officers arrested Krebs Tuesday night. She’s been charged with a class C felony on the drug theft, along with a separate misdemeanor charge.

Krebs is accused of tampering with patients’ records to indicate she had given the stolen narcotics to patients. Krebs is being held in the Scott County Jail on a $10,000 bond. The Quad City Times reports Krebs was a nurse at the Bettendorf Health Care Center.
