Iowa State coach Matt Campbell says there may be a new head coach at Baylor but nothing else has changed. The Bears are 4-0 and ranked 13th heading into Saturday’s game at Jack Trice Stadium.
Former Wake Forest coach Jim Grobe stepped in after former coach Art Briles was fired during a tumultuous summer.
“They have got really good football players and that hasn’t changed”, said Campbell. “Even though there has been some shake up there the foundation of who they are and how they play the game of football still fits and still looks the same.”
Baylor opened Big-12 play with a 35-24 win over Oklahoma State and Grobe says that game helped answer a lot of questions.
“I think it was huge because we played a really good football team in Oklahoma State”, said Grobe “We were very fortunate to come away with a win and it is good to start with a win but it is also good if you can start out playing a really good team and get one.”
