Northern Iowa defeats Illinois State

Without leading scorer Sean Stackhouse Northern Iowa still defeated Illinois State 78-66 in Missouri Valley conference action in the west gym on wednesday night. Stackhouse sprained an ankle in practice prior to the game and senior guard Tony Brus responded by pouring in a game high 31-points. With the victory, the panthers improve to 5-11 in the Valley and 8-16 overall.
