ISU host Mizzou to open Big 12

The Iowa State Cyclones open Big-12 play at home tomorrow against Missouri. The Cyclones are 12-2 but lost the services of junior forward Martin Rancik earlier this week after he had surgery to repair a broken bone in his foot. Cyclone coach Larry Eustachy says Rancik’s absence will mean more minutes for Paul Shirley.Eustachy says without Rancik upfront, the Cyclones don’t have as many fouls to give.
