Job fair features three state universities

Iowans who’re hungry for their first jobs, or just a new job, may be matched up with employers at an event underway today in Des Moines. The Central Iowa Job Fair is being hosted by the alumni associations of all three public universities and features at least 90 employers:Event co-organizer Jan Burch, of the University of Iowa’s Alumni Association, says there are a variety of services which younger job seekers should take advantage of at the job fair:Burch says it’s possible to walk in with a resume and walk out with a new job:The job fair runs from 12:30 to 6:30 today only at the Polk County Convention Complex in downtown Des Moines.
