Vilsack wants more money for elderly care

Governor Vilsack wants taxpayers to fork over 11-milliondollars for government health care initiatives. Vilsack has outlined aseries of new proposals, with a focus on care for elderly people. Nine-million dollars would be spent on Iowa nursing homes, to pay workersmore. Vilsack also wants to spend one-million dollars on a health careprogram that would give insurance coverage fo 12-thousand additionalchildren. And he wants the government to pay for dental care for those kids.
