The Iowa Corn Growers Association has asked state lawmakersto force motorists to use “oxygenated” fuels. Corn growers are pushing forlarger markets for ethanol, a clean-burning corn-based fuel. Ethanol has a40-percent share of the gasoline market in Iowa. To increase that share, theassociation wants an ethanol blend of ten-percent in all motor fuel in thestate.
