Former Iowa senatorial candidate Claude Neill hasrequested a recount of votes from this month’s special election. Neill lostthe election in Senate District 46 to Democrat John Judge. The differencein votes was less than 150 votes. Neill says to quit now would be a bigdisappointment to his sizable following. District 46 is in extremesouth-central Iowa.
