Tax relief group plans big campaign

AN IOWA GROUP PLANS TO SPEND OVER ONE MILLION DOLLARS TO GAIN PASSAGE OF CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS WHICH WOULD LIMIT STATE GOVERNMENT’S TAXING AND SPENDING AUTHORITY. JUNE 29TH IS THE DATE SET FOR IOWANS TO VOTE ON THE PROPOSED AMENDMENTS. ED FAILOR OF IOWANS FOR TAX RELIEF SAYS THE NAME OF THE NEW CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE IS “GOOD FOR IOWA: VOTE YES” AND JOHN GUILLILAND, THE REPUBLICAN WHO LOST THE SECRETARY OF STATE’S RACE IN NOVEMBER, WILL BE PAID TO RUN THE CAMPAIGN. FAILOR SAYS THE GROUP WILL CONTINUE TO PUBLICLY FILE DOCUMENTS SHOWING WHERE THEY’RE RAISING THEIR MONEY DESPITE A RECENT COURT RULING WHICH TOSSED OUT THE DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS. AND FAILOR SAYS THE “VOTE YES” COMMITTEE WILL ACCEPT CORPORATE OR BUSINESS CONTRIBUTIONS.
