Cyclones open Big 12 Tournament against Colorado

March 2, 1999 By admin

The Iowa State Cyclones open the Big-12 tournament Thursday in Kansas City against Colorado. The Cyclones closed out the regular season with a two point win over Kansas and at 15-14 could lock up a winning season with a victory over the Buffaloes. Regardless, coach Larry Eustachy says his team is a winner either way. Eustachy has never had a losing record as a coach and says the winning record doesn’t consume him heading into the tournament.
