Action resumed this afternoon at the Boys State Basketball Tournament with first round play in Class 2A. Ninth-ranked Pella Christian shot 56-percent in the opening half to build a 30-18 lead at the break and cruised to a 60-43 win over Monroe P-C-M in a 2A quarterfinal round game. Pella Christian is making its fifth appearance at the state tournament and they have never lost a first round game. Doug Gildersleeve led PCM with17-points and says the Mustangs got behind too early in the game.
