Republican Steve Forbes has gone online to announce his candidacy for the presidency. Forbes, the publisher of the magazine which bears his family name, says his Internet kickoff is meant to show that he doesn’t believe in “politics as usual.” Des Moines businessman Kevin Mc-Laughlin supported Forbes’ in 1996 and is organizing for the new campaign. Mc-Laughlin says Forbes will make the right decisions in the White House.Forbes has lined up the support of key Iowa Christian Coalition members for his latest campaign. Forbes will campaign in Iowa on Thursday.
