The top ranked team advanced as the quarterfinal round in class 3A wrapped up at the boys state basketball tournament. In a game that was close the entire way, top ranked Keokuk used solid guard play to hang on for a 55-52 victory over 6th ranked West Delaware to earn a spot in the 3A semifinals. The guard tandem of Shawn Worley and Craig Lewis combined for 31-points and Lewis says having played in the tournament a year ago was an advantage for the chiefs. With the victory Keokuk improves to 22-1. Todd Klosterman led West Delaware with 20-points.
