Record set at McDonald’s All-Star game in Ames

A Michael Jordan record fell last night as the West squad defeated the Eastsquad 141-128 in the annual McDonalds high school all-american basketballgame in Hilton Colesium. The West’s Jonathan Bender scored 31-points,breaking the record of 30 set by Michael Jordan back in 1981. Bender willplay at Mississippi State. Iowa Falls standout Nick Collison had 16-pointsfor the West squad, including 14 in the second half.
