Accident kills two in Council Bluffs

Two people involved in the Council Bluffs-area car crash have both died.They’re identified as 6-year-old Nicholas Pogge and 18-year-oldRyan Price — both of Council Bluffs. The two spent 20 minutes underwaterfollowing an accident which left their car over-turned and submerged in alake. Council Bluffs firefighters and water rescue units pulled thevictims from the lake and rushed them by helicopter to an area hospital.Lake Manawa is on the south edge of Council Bluffs.
