Missouri and former UNI coach retires

After 32-years at the helm, University of Missouri basketball coach NormStewart announced his retirement.Stewart’s coaching career began at Northern Iowa in 1961 and in 32-seasonsat Missouri he earned 634 victories and 16-trips to the N-C-A-A tournament.He admits he will miss coaching and the attention that comes with it.Iowa State coach Larry Eustachy says he was surprised by the announcement ashe just talked to Stewart at the Final Four..There have also been rumors surronding Kansas coach Roy Williams and hispossible interest in moving on to North Carolina someday. Eustachy saysthat’s just the nature of the business.
