Meth maker arrested at roadblock for Vice President

A Story County man who was transporting a methamphetamine lab picked thewrong place to run a roadblock last night. Story County Sheriff’s Departmentspokesman Lieutenant Gary Foster says they were escorting Vice President AlGore to a farm near Colo when 37-year old Vincent Hudson of Slater ranthrough a roadblock set up by a deputy. Hew was stopped by deputies and thesecret service.Foster says having the Secret Service on the scene made the arrest anunforgetable event.The incident happend about a half mile away from where the Vice Presidentwas staying. Foster says Hudson was not aware that Gore was visiting.Hudson is being held in the Story County jail.
