Fire damages Marshalltown business

Fire departments from five cities responded to a fire in Marshalltown today.Fire crews from Albion, Green Mountain, Le Grand and Grinell joinedMarshaltown firefighters in batteling the fire at the Los Laurelesrestaurant and grocery store on west main street. It took firefighters twohours to bring the fire under control. Four families that lived in thebuilding are now without homes. The cause of the fire is not known. Therewere no injuries.
