Iowa Falls boys basketball coach resigns

Iowa Falls boys basketball coach Dave Collison is stepping down after leadingthe Cadets to the last two class 2A state championships and a 52-gamewinning streak. Collison’s son Nick was a key member of the championshipteams and is moving on to play college ball at Kansas. Collison says he isgiving up coaching so he can follow his son.Collison says he made the decision after talking with other coaches who’ddone the same.Collison had coached boys basketball for 22 years, five at Iowa Falls. He isalso resigning as cross country coach, but will continue to be the IowaFalls athletic director and coach the boys baseball team. Collison says hehas not ruled out returning to coaching when Nick is through with college.
