Legislator back after storm clean up

A state legislator is back on the job in Des Moines after spending the pastfew days cleaning up her tornado-ravaged property near Villisca. Representative Effie Lee Boggess lost nearly everything when thetornado struck her farmstead.Boggess said the kindness of friends and neighbors has sustained the family.Boggess and her husband, Jim, were on their way to a son’s wedding in Idahowhen they had to return to what had been their home.
