UNI coach gives recruiting a good grade

It has been a busy Spring for Northern Iowa basketball coach Sam Weaver whohas signed five players to national letters of intent. 6-1 guard Cloy “Boo”Miller announced last week he would attend U-N-I and Weaver says Miller willbe a good addition.Miller averaged 15 and a half points, four-and-a-half steals and five assistsper game for Shawnee Mission, Kansas high school. He joins two other springsignees, 6-1 guard Kelvin Hill out of North Dakota State College of Scienceand 6-6 forward Arlando “Fred” McHenry from Three Rivers Community Collegein Missouri. During the Fall the Panthers signed 6-7 forward Derek Paben out of Beatrice,Nebraska and 6-8 Slaven Markovic from state champion Sioux City West. Weaver on the overall assesment of the recruiting class.
