UNI hopes to finally cap UNI-Dome leaks

Officials at the University of Northern Iowa hope the leaking UNI-Dome roofwill be fixed in the next couple of weeks. The UNI-Dome has been leakingsince it was re-opened with a new roof last October. U-N-I Associate Athletic Director Kevin Buisman says the general contractoris back at work.Buisman says the contractor believes they have isolated the problem and needto build some special covers for cables on the roof to prevent the leaks.Buisman is confident the work will be completed in time for football.
