Iowa educator talks about Colorado shootings

Many Iowa educators are cringing in the aftermath of yesterday’s shootingsand bombings in a Colorado school that left 15 people dead, 28 injured. MikeRogers is superintendant of the South Hamilton School District in Jewell,and says he’s had a several thoughts in the day after the slayings.Rogers says most school systems, even the small ones in rural Iowa, haveplans in place to deal with just this type of incident.Rogers says people can’t assume they’re safe anywhere.
