Monty Branstad found guilty

The younger brother of former Governor Terry Branstad has been found guiltyof harassment in connection with an October incident involving hisex-girlfriend.Police were called to 48-year-old Monroe “Monty” Branstad’s farm in theForest City area where a woman claimed she’d been chased by a man in a truckwith a gun. Branstad was given a ten-day SUSPENDED jail sentence and fivemonths probation.
