Avenue of the Saints cities work together

The mayors of communities along the Avenue of the Saints highway betweenClear Lake and Waterloo are meeting to discuss joint marketing efforts.Mason City Mayor Bill Schickel is optimistic.Schickel says the communities can help each other.He says this type of collaboration can bring jobs to Iowa.The bypass runs south of Mason City. The mayors are now meeting every month.The full highway — Avenue of the Saints — will eventually link St. Louis &St. Paul.
