Bust in southwest Iowa turns up stolen goods

Southwest Iowa authorities have recovered stolen items connected to severalburglaries — as well as remnants of a meth lab from a farmstead on theAdams-Taylor county line. Union County Sheriff John Coulter says officerssearched the Jack Brandon residence in rural Lenox and found a large amountof stolen property.Brandon was charged with manufacturing methamphetamines after remants of ameth lab and five ounces of the drug were recovered. The sheriff says othercharges could be filed.Coulter says cooperation between a number of law enforcement agencies helpedcrack the case.Coulter says the dollar amount of the stolen items has not been determined.Brandon is being held in the Adams county jail.
