New Bucs coach ready for the spotlight

Tom Carroll says coming from Notre Dame he is very familiar with highexpectations. The former Fighting Irish assistant takes over as the new headcoach of the Des Moines Buccaneers of the United States Hockey League, afranchise that has won four regular season, three playoff and three nationalchampionships during the decade of the 90s.Carroll says the job comes with pressure but that’s the environment hewants.Carroll replaces Scott Owens who resigned to become head coach at N-C-A-Apower Colorado College.
