Norwegian royalty to visit Decorah

The northeastern Iowa city of Decorah will get a boost at itssesquicentennial celebration next week with a visit by a special guest.Charlie Langton is spokesman for the Vesterheim Museum in Decorah. He saysthe crown prince of Norway, Prince Haakon will be in Decorah next Thursdayas part of a two-week U-S tour. Langton says this marks the 7th time amember of Norway’s royal family has visited Decorah.The last royal visit to Decorah was in 1995 by the prince’s parents, KingHarold and Queen Sonya.
