Muscatine softball team "re-loads"

Losing six seniors off a team that finished 44-6 would call for a rebuildingyear in most high school softball programs but for Muscatine it means justanother chance to re-load. The Muskies are 6-0 on the season and rankedsecond in class 3A and coach Dennis Schuur says the success of the pastgives all the players in the program high expectations.Muscatine won’t have to look far for solid competition. Mississippi AthleticConference rival North Scott is ranked third.Schuur says the rivalry with North Scott has helped both programs over theyears.
