Fizer hopes to make all-star team

Iowa State junior-to-be Marcus Fizer heads to Dayton later this month wherehe hopes to make the roster for Team U-S-A which will take part in the WorldUniversity Games this summer. Fizer was one of 16-finalists selected from agroup of players who tried out in Colorado Springs. Fizer says the Cyclonecoaches prepared him for the tryout.Iowa State coach Larry Eustachy says Fizer continues to make major strides.Eustachy says Fizer will eventually move on to the next level.Following training camp in Dayton, the roster will be trimmed to 12-players.
