Book gives women help

Iowa women now have one place to turn for information regarding taxes,health care, the Internet and more. The Iowa Commission on the Status of Women recently revised a free, 58-pageguidebook aimed at assisting unemployed, underemployed, or underpaid women. Charlotte Nelson of I-C-S-W says the guidebook is especially for women whoneed to get back into the workforce and need assistance getting there. The guidebook includes information regarding everything from education, tocareers, to using a computer. The guidebook is available at no cost by calling the Iowa Commission on theStatus of Women at 1-800-558-4427 or e-mailing them at icsw@compuserve.com.
