Latham says commandments are important

While a gun control measure failed, the U-S House last week -did- pass anIowa Representative’s amendment to the Juvenile Justice Crime Bill.Congressman Tom Latham says he was very pleased his Drug Dealer LiabilityAct passed so overwhelmingly — on a vote of 424-to-3.Latham says the bill will have the most impact on white collar criminals,like those who sell drugs to co-workers. Latham, a republican fromAlexander, supported the other part of the larger bill which would allow theposting of the Ten Commandments in public buildings, including schools.Latham says the Ten Commandments are -quote- “the principles of what weare as a society”.He says the Commandments do NOT exclude people from other religions.
