Iowa native gets playing time with ‘Stormers

Injuries to some veteran receivers have pushed Iowa Barnstormer rookieGeoff Turner into action this season. The Urbandale native began hiscollege career at Iowa State before transferring to Colorado State and hassix receptions in four games in a relief role this season. While his actionhas been limited at this point, Turner feels it has been a plus.Turner says the Arena Football is similar but quicker to style of play in themore traditional game he played in college.Turner says while it is a faster game, speed is not always the most criticalfactor. He says running good routes and doing what you are supposed to onthe field is important.
