UNI foundation receives record gift

The University of Northern Iowa Foundation today announced its largest-evercoporate gift. U-N-I President Robert Koob says the gift of software is fromthe Computer Design company of Grand Rapids, Michigan. The software is called U4ia and is said to be state-of-the-art for thetextile industry. Koob says the two-point-three-million dollar gift is abig boost for the university.A spokeswoman for Computer Design says the software company will give U-N-Istudents a competitive edge when they graduate.
